Are your products Leaping Bunny certified or cruelty-free?

We are often asked whether our products carry certifications like Leaping Bunny or other cruelty-free labels.

The short answer: we are absolutely committed to being cruelty-free—but we do not currently pursue third-party certification through organizations like Leaping Bunny.

Here’s why:

At Rustic Strength, we believe in radical transparency over paid validation systems. Certifications can be helpful, but they don’t always reflect the full picture of how a product is actually sourced, formulated, and produced.

Leaping Bunny certification, for example, focuses specifically on animal testing policies across a brand’s supply chain. While that mission matters—and we fully support the movement to end animal testing—it represents just one piece of a much larger conversation around product safety, ethics, and environmental impact.

Our approach goes deeper.

We work directly with suppliers who confirm that raw materials are not tested on animals, and we prioritize plant-based, biodegradable ingredients that are both effective and responsibly sourced. Just as importantly, we focus on real-world safety and human health, ensuring every formula is developed with careful attention to concentration, exposure, and use—not just checkbox compliance.

Because here’s the truth:
A certification logo doesn’t always account for formulation integrity, ingredient purity, or the compounding effect of daily toxin exposure.

Instead of allocating resources toward certification fees, we invest in:

  • High-purity ingredient sourcing
  • Full ingredient disclosure (no secrets, no greenwashing)
  • Supplier verification and documentation
  • Small-batch production for freshness and quality

We fully support consumers who value certifications and encourage you to do your own research. Informed choices matter.

For us, cruelty-free isn’t a label—it’s a standard built into every decision we make, from sourcing to formulation to the final product in your home.
