Do you use elemental chlorine-free (ECF) technology?

Despite the namesake, elemental chlorine refers to a molecule with 2 chlorine atoms (represented by the molecular formula Cl2) and is the usable form of the element. This was used as a (now rather dated) technique to brighten the appearance of wood-based products such as toilet paper or paper towels. Sodium hypochlorite (more commonly known as bleach) is used these days to achieve the same effect.

With all that being said, our paper towels and toilet paper are totally chlorine free in regards to bleach and elemental chlorine. There has been no process to change, brighten or lighten them.
