There are a few reasons why there is no lingering scent on clothing after a wash.<ul><li dir="ltr" style="text-decoration:none;">Our products are lightly scented for mass appeal.</li><li dir="ltr" style="text-decoration:none;">Essential oils tend to dissipate in high temperatures.</li><li dir="ltr" style="text-decoration:none;">Our detergent is formulated with no optical brighteners or chemical binders for the scent (or other residues) to bind to. We see this as an asset! &#xA0;</li></ul> Our phthalate-free fragrance scents are stronger and have a higher chance of lingering on clothes after using heat, but it will never be a strong scent. If you would like your clothes to retain scent, we recommend washing in cool water and air drying. This will give you the highest chance of your scent sticking! You may also consider adding some drops of scent oil to your&#xA0;<a href="https://rusticstrength.com/collections/dryer-balls" style="text-decoration:none;">dryer balls</a>&#xA0;or spritzing with some&#xA0;<a href="https://rusticstrength.com/collections/linen-spray" style="text-decoration:none;">linen spray</a>&#xA0;after they are dry.
